Differentials to a ring enhancing mass in an elderly patient should be considered, such as metastasis, GBM, and abscess.
Large multilobulated cystic mass within the left frontal lobe showing thin capsular enhancement ("ring enhancement") and causing prominent local mass effect with vasogenic oedema and subfalcine herniation.
