- Grossly dilated lateral and third ventricles with significant compression of surrounding brain parenchyma, splaying of corpus callosum, bowing of lamina terminalis and dilatation of pineal recess.
- Loss of aqueductal flow void.
- Fourth ventricle appears normal.
- Few extraaxial foci of hemorrhage are seen along right frontal convexity and interhemispheric fissure.
- Postcontrast study shows no obvious abnormal parenchymal or leptomeningeal enhancement.
- Cerebellum, brainstem and pituitary gland are unremarkable.
