Where is the abnormality on this film?
Arises from the posteromedial left humeral metaphysis and projects away from the epiphysis.
Does this represent a benign or malignant lesion? What features support your assertion?
The mass has a permeative texture with internal calcification, cortical destruction and a soft tissue mass, all of which point towards malignancy.
What is the most likely diagnosis?
An expansile calcified / ossified mass arises from the proximal left humerus and projects medially. The base of the lesion appears continuous with the underlying bone. The medial and inferior parts of the lesion are ill-defined with a wide zone of transition.
