Abnormal high signal intensity in the T8/T9 intervertebral disc space with adjacent irregular endplates. Abnormal T8 and T9 vertebral body signal intensity with hypointensity on T1WI and high signal intensity on T2WI/STIR sequences with patchy enhancement in T8 and T9 vertebrae.
Paravertebral soft tissue in both T8 and T9 vertebral bodies with high signal intensity on T2WI and showing abnormal enhancement.
Extension of the right sided paravertebral soft tissue at T8/T9 level into the right side epidural space as epidural lesion. This epidural lesion shows peripherally enhancement with central low intensity. This epidural lesion compresses onto the adjacent spinal cord and displaces it posterolaterally. Minimal high signal intensity on T2WI within this short segment of spinal cord.
Disc desiccation in almost all imaged intervertebral disc.
L1 compression fracture.
A few vertebral bodies lesions in L1 and L2 with high signal intensity on T1WI, T2WI and STIR sequences may represent vertebral haemangioma.
Diffuse disc bulges from L2/L3 till L5/S1 levels. Right L5 neuro foramina is obliterated by the disc herniation compromises the right L5 exiting nerve root. Ligamentum flavum hypertrophy and facet joints arthropathy.
