Enlarged uterus with diffuse thickening of the junctional zone endometrium-myometrium ranging from 25 to 35 mm, displaying an intermediate signal on T1, and low signal on T2 with numerous foci of high signal indicating menstrual haemorrhage into the ectopic endometrial tissues.
Small left ovarian follicles are noted (18/20 mm) with minimal peritoneal effusion.
