Adrenocortical carcinoma

Discussion:

The differential diagnoses for such a mass are:

  • adrenal metastases
  • adrenal adenoma
  • pheochromocytoma
  • adrenal hemorrhage

The laboratory tests for pheochromocytoma were found to be normal (urine VMA).

The histopathological result of this mass was found to be an adrenocortical carcinoma.
