Any abnormalities on this chest radiograph?
There is a large right sided pneumothorax. The underlying lungs and thoracic cage are normal.
What is important to notice with this?
There are early signs of tensioning - although the trachea is central, the heart is slightly shifted to the right. Especially in comparison with the next x-ray, there is splaying of the ribs on the right. This needs emergency treatment.
