Where do these arise?
The pouch starts at the posterior laryngeal wall, at a weakness known as the Killian dehiscence.
Large wide necked zenker diverticulum (pharyngeal pouch). This filled early on the frontal series and persisted on all other views.
Regurgitation and effortful clearing demonstrated. Tiny amount of contrast aspiration.
No other upper GI abnormality.
