Multifocal invasive ductal carcinoma in a previously reduced breast

Discussion:

1. The fat necrosis centrally related to previous breast reduction surgery. The "bubbly lucencies are typical of fat necrosis post surgery.

2. The multifocal tumors in the axillary tail confirmed as IDC on ultrasound guided biopsy.

3. The high riding nipple is typical of the nipple position on a reduced breast. It can sometimes be the only imaging clue that the breast has been reduced.
