Low field exam. Bone marrow moderate low-intensity signal, somehow patchy in T1. Osteoblastic reaction at the stress fracture site in the lower part of the calcaneus. On fat-sat sequences (STIR sagittal and Dixon coronal) high signal intensity of the bone marrow. Oedema at the fracture site is difficult to appreciate due to bone marrow transformation.
