Lipoma of tendon sheath

Discussion:

Diagnosis: Lipoma of tendon sheath (Pathologically proved)

Lipoma of tendon sheath and synovial lining may present as frond like fatty projection or discrete mass. This is a rare case of tendon sheath lipoma, the patient had this swelling of long duration and came now because he started to feel parathesia of the lateral fingers.

On examination the swelling was slippery and soft and no skin discoloration. During operation the mass was adherent to the tendon and difficult to dissect.
