The cystic component appears well-defined of high signal intensity on T1WI, T2WI, and FLAIR with a thin peripheral rim of enhancement. No solid component is seen. A mass effect is noted on the optic chiasma which is displaced mainly to the right. The floor of the 3rd ventricle is slightly elevated with no ventricular dilatation.
