This patient was subsequently referred externally for CTA which confirmed an anomalous right lower pulmonary vein draining into the IVC, in keeping with PAPVR.

Scimitar syndrome represents a combination of pulmonary hypoplasia and partial anomalous pulmonary venous return (PAPVR).
