Ultrasound and CT features of splenic epidermoid cysts

The differential diagnosis includes mainly the secondary cysts:

      -splenic pseudocysts: post-traumatic or post-infarction origins

      -infection: splenic abscess, splenic hydatid cyst

The large and symptomatic cysts are managed surgically. Small cysts need follow-up.
