Coracoclavicular joints with situs inversus

Discussion:

Coracoclavicular joint is a true synovial diarthrosis and is a genetically determined anatomical structure.

It is usually asymptomatic, however, they are prone to develop marginal osteophytic lipping, leading to shoulder pain.

Radiologists must check for this joint as a the differential diagnosis of unexplained shoulder pain.
