CT
Non-communicating hydrocephalus, with dilated lateral and third ventricle, but normal fourth ventricle. No transependymal oedema. The calvarium is slightly thinned and scalloped, in keeping with a long-standing hydrocephalus.
No intra or extra axial haemorrhage. No evidence of acute ischaemia. The basal cisterns are normal. No calvarial or base of skull fracture.
