Spontaneous pneumothorax secondary to COPD
Discussion:
Pneumothoraces can be spontaneous or traumatic/iatrogenic. When spontaneous they can be primary or secondary to underlying lung disease. This is an example of a secondary spontaneous pneumothorax due to emphysema.
