Her general examination did not reveal any sign of Von-Hipple-Lindau syndrome. Surgery and histology confirmed that the lesion represented a hemangioblastoma.

Hemangioblastomas are the most common posterior fossa mass in a young adult patient, and typically have prominent enhancement and flow voids.
