What is the advantage of EVAR?
There is reduced perioperative mortality compared to open surgery, especially in elderly patients or those with comorbidities such as COPD or chronic renal failure.
What is the most common complication?
Endoleaks are the most common. Other complications include migration and kinking of the stent-graft.
No endoleak is identified. No contrast is demonstrated in the native aortic lumen on arterial or delayed phase images.
The aorta measures 39 x 36 mm in maximum dimension, overlying the aortic graft; inferiorly (just above the aortic bifurcation) the sac expands and flattens slightly, measuring 41 x 34 mm.
