Cervical adenocarcinoma

Discussion:

Samples of cervical curettage revealed low differentiated endometrioid adenocarcinoma. Submucosal myoma in the uterine dome also could be the reason for the uterine bleeding. Cervical adenocarcinoma is a rare abnormality that accounts only for 12.5% of all cervical cancers. It is characterized by poor contrast enhancement, as demonstrated in this case. Sparing of the outermost stromal ring indicates FIGO stage T1b.
