MRI features of a small suprasellar soft tissue mass of mixed signal intensity on both T1 and T2, centered on the optic chiasma and hypothalamic region.

 The patient went on to have surgical resection of the tumor with a histopathological exam that confirm the diagnosis of cavernoma (type II in this case according to Zabramski classification).
