Posterior ligament cruciate (PCL) avulsion fracture

Discussion:

The posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) is an important stabilizer of the knee. Isolated rupture of the PCL is more common as an avulsion to its tibial insertion. Lesions of the femoral origin or as lesions of the midsubstance are less frequent.
