What's the difference between a true and false aneurysm?
A true aneurysm maintains the normal trilaminar structure of an artery, whereas the pseudoaneurysm does not.
On ultrasound control after kidney transplantation, you find a well-defined saccular outpouching off the renal artery. What's the most likely cause?
Pseudoaneurysm.
Colour Doppler ultrasound exam revealed two "yin-yang sign" within the external iliac artery, compatible with pseudoaneurysms.
