Polycythemia vera is a clinical condition wherein there is an overproduction of red blood cells.  Hematology findings may show increased number of red blood cells, hemoglobin, and hematocrit among others. Common symptoms include but are not limited to dizziness, headache, blurred vision, sweating, itchy skin, and fatigue.
