Dilated cardiomyopathy with left ventricular aneurysm

Discussion:

This patient has decreased LV ejection fraction, caused by dilated cardiomyopathy, confirmed with echocardiography. Also, there is notable decrease of ventricular contractility on short axis CINE images, dilatation of left ventricle, left ventricular aneurysm and fibrosis of the aneurysmal wall.
