Choriocarcinoma

Discussion:

In this case, the patient has abdominal pain, vomiting and marked elevated Beta hCG levels.

Ultrasonography revealed a uterine mass of heterogeneous echogenicity with increased vascularity.
Dilatation and curettage was done and a choriocarcinoma was diagnosed histopathologically.

Radiologically choriocarcinoma may be indistinguishable from an invasive mole.
