Mature cystic teratoma (ovarian dermoid cyst) is a benign tumor that contains cells from all germ layers (endoderm, mesoderm and ectoderm). Diagnosis can be made by ultrasonography, CT or MRI with the detection of fat and calcification within the lesion.
