Pseudomembranous colitis

Pseudomembranous colitis is an infectious colitis caused by Clostridioides difficile producing toxins. There is usually a history of long antibiotic use associated with abdominal pain and diarrhea. It is important to recognize the radiological imaging features to prevent complications such as perforation. The diagnosis was confirmed by stool samples which reveal C. difficile.
