The mass spontaneously decreased in size on subsequent CT.  The mass again enlarged on a third CT obtained later (not shown).

The fluctuating size of the mass documented by CT is diagnostic of a venous malformation. The same can be elicited by repeating CT during valsalva maneuver to increase venous pressure.
