Case of acute subdural hemorrhage

It is a type of extra-axial bleed

Other known type is the extradural/ epidural hemorrhage

Subdural bleed has 3 phases:

• acute
• subacute
• chronic

The density of the bleed decreases with time from blood HU (50-70) to near CSF HU (10-15)
