Bankart lesion and Hill Sachs fracture

Discussion:

Hill Sachs deformity is a posterolateral humeral head impaction fracture due to impaction against the antero-inferior labrum in the setting of antero-inferior dislocation, which is the commonest type of shoulder dislocation. This is associated with a Bankart lesion, which is a cartilaginous and/or bony defect of the antero-inferior labrum.
