Peter Mitchell ◉ ◈

Professor Peter Mitchell is a diagnostic and interventional neuroradiologist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital where he is director of the NeuroIntervention Service. He is Head of Endovascular Clot Retrieval Statewide Service at RMH, and President of the Australian & New Zealand Society of NeuroRadiology (ANZSNR). Peter is a world leader in endovascular management of stroke, was a co-principal investigator and author of the EXTEND-IA trial published in NEJM in March 2015.
