About 3 months prior the presentation, a patient developed sudden onset of right-sided groin pain while running.

Adductor longus avulsion

There is an avulsed bone flake from the right pubis to which intact adductor longus is attached. Gracilis, adductor brevis, and adductor mangus show normal echopattern. The asymptomatic contralateral side was examined for comparison, and it revealed normal findings.

A young male had a sudden onset of right groin pain while running. Ultrasound examination shows the avulsion of adductor longus.
