Heterogeneously dense fibroglandular tissue (ACR - C).

No pathological microcalcifications or suspicious masses.

Nipple elevation and parenchymal redistribution with residual breast tissue shifted to a lower position.

Architectural distortion with bilateral reduction scars.

Reduction mammoplasty is a surgical technique designed to reduce the size and volume of breast tissue.

Common mammographic findings:

  • nipple elevation and parenchymal redistribution, as residual breast tissue shifts to a lower position

  • architectural distortion, swirling fibroglandular tissue, and straightening of Cooper's ligaments

  • fat necrosis and calcifications

  • areolar and inferior breast skin thickening
