Endometrial carcinoma - FIGO stage 1a

Presentation

Postmenopausal bleeding.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Female

Enlarged uterus measuring about 60*75*100 mm.

There is a 20*35*50 mm sized mass lesion (T1 and T2 intermediate signal) distending the endometrial cavity. Furthermore, it appears to invade less than 50 percent of the myometrium. However, the outer band of the myometrium is continuous.

Restriction seen on ADC/DWI images.

No extension into the cervix or beyond the uterus.

No bladder / rectal involvement.

No suspicious lymph nodes.

No focal adnexal lesions seen.

Nabothian cysts up to 7mm at uterine cervix anterior and posterior walls.

No free fluid is seen.

pathology

Endometrial adenocarcinoma, well differentiated.
