Ganglion cyst - wrist

Presentation

Palpable mass at the ventral aspect of the right wrist.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female
mri

There is a 15 x 20 x 25 mm sharply-marginated, multilocular cystic structure with a thin capsule centered over the ventral aspect of the radio scaphoid articulation, between the space of 1st commen extensor compartment (APL, EPB tendons) and flexor carpi radialis tendon with a pedicle emanating from the palmar radiocarpal ligament.

Case Discussion

MRI imaging findings are consistent with the carpal ganglion cyst.
