Intraosseous transposition of left mandibular premolars

The left mandibular first and second premolars are malaligned with intraosseous transposition. The thickness of bone above the teeth appears normal.
Lack of radiolucency around the migrated teeth is also noted.
Dental caries is present at the maxillary right first molar, left canine, left first and second premolar, left first and second molar teeth as well as mandibular right second premolar.
Case Discussion
Premolars, lateral incisors as well as third molars seem to be the most commonly missing teeth. Usually, just one or two teeth that are missing. The recent x-ray shows two missing teeth in the left mandibular bone. The etiology, in this case, is intraosseous transposition.
