Presentation

Known case of COVID-19 pneumonia from 9 days ago who referred with sudden onset shortness of breath and pleuritic chest pain.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male

Large intra-luminal filling defect (saddle thrombus) straddles the pulmonary artery bifurcation extending into the main pulmonary arteries partially occluding their lumens. There are also multiple additional emboli in the lobar and segmental pulmonary arteries.

Straightening of the intraventricular septum.
