Dilated blind-ending tubular structure in left iliac fossa (appendix) measuring 13mm with adjacent fat stranding and minimal fluid collection.
Dextrocardia, right side aortic arch, total transposition of abdominal viscera (right side stomach and spleen, left side liver, GB and IVC and bowel malrotation, inverse relation of superior mesenteric vessels).
Case Discussion
Imaging features of situs inversus totalis with left-sided acute appendicitis.
Patient underwent appendectomy and the inflamed appendix was excised.
