FRCR 2B Long Cases
Radiopaedia has produced a set of four online practice exams intended for individuals sitting the FRCR Part B Reporting Exam. While these used to be available as scheduled exams on the weeks before the actual exam, we now provide access to all of these practice exams for All-Access Pass holders.
Each practice exam is designed for self-assessment, with each case accompanied by a model answer, scoring guide, and five scored example answers typed by real candidates under exam conditions. Our test candidate results for each practice exam and corresponding actual FRCR Part 2 Reporting exam scores are shown below. All candidates passed the actual exam.
Online Exam Format
Each practice exam consists of six cases drawn from different radiology subspecialties and may be single or multimodality. Cases will be generally pitched at a greater difficulty than the actual exam to challenge your answer technique and to extend your knowledge.
Each case has BACK, MENU, and NEXT buttons to facilitate navigation through the exam. It is recommended that candidates set up a split-screen with the practice exam in one window and a word processing document in another window with Observations, Interpretation, Diagnosis, Differentials, and Further Management as headings to type answers under.
Scoring templates and example answers
Registrants will not submit their answers to Radiopaedia for marking. Instead, you will receive detailed scoring templates for each case and scored example answers provided by five real candidates who went on to sit the FRCR 2B Exam within two weeks of completing these practice exams (see results summary at the top of page). Our experience is that the scoring templates and example answers provide an excellent mechanism for self-assessment and improvement.

Disclaimer
These practice exams are in no way approved or endorsed by the Royal College of Radiologists. We, Radiopedia Events Pty Ltd, have created these practice exams independently based on available information and the experience of our radiologists. While we have made great efforts to produce a useful resource for candidates, we cannot take any responsibility for actual examination performance.
The cases used in these Practice Exams are (almost) the same as those featured in our RANZCR eFilm Reading Practice Exam, so we recommend only registering for one of the two and not both. The additional cases in the eFilm Reading Practice Exam are mainly Obstetric cases and those considered unlikely to be seen in an FRCR 2B exam.
