Lateral elbow pain.

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female

Thickening and abnormal intermediate-high signal intensity on the fluid sensitive sequences at the insertion site of the common extensor tendon on the lateral epicondyle.

Lateral epicondylitis, also known as tennis elbow, is an overuse syndrome of the common extensor tendon and predominantly affects the extensor carpi radialis brevis (ECRB) tendon.
