Complete opacification of the epitympanum of both middle ear cavities as well as both aditus ad antrum extending into the mastoid air cells on both sides.
No signs of erosion of any of the following; ossicles, scutum, tegmen tympani.
Case Discussion
Patient with history of ear discharge demonstrates opacification of both middle ear cavities that extends into both mastoids as well as opacified aditus ad antrum.
CT finding in keeping with bilateral otitis media with bilateral mastoid effusion.
No signs of bone erosion to suggest cholesteatoma.
