Sclerotic (healing) sacral ala and transverse sacral body fractures.
Case Discussion
These sacral changes without a history of trauma producing a so-called Honda sign, are mostly representing sacral insufficiency fractures. Note bones are demineralized. Usually occurs in elderly women.
