Presentation

Right flank pain.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
ct

There is a calculus of about 6.0 mm in the distal ureter (axial, coronal, sagittal) opposite to the S4/5 level, about 1.5 cm above the right vesicoureteric junction, with mild dilatation of the proximal ureter.

At least three, tiny, hyperdense foci are seen in the left kidney as well with differential of calcifications and small calculi.

Both kidneys are normal in shape and position.

The rest of the viscera are within normal limits.

CT findings and clinical presentation of the patient are of right-sided ureteric calculus, as described.
