The patient had a segment with colonoscopy and biopsy, which revealed that it was a colonic adenocarcinoma (pathological confirmation).
Colorectal cancers can be found anywhere from the cecum to the rectum, in the following distribution:
- recto-sigmoid : 55%
- cecum and ascending colon : 22%
- transverse colon : 11%
- descending colon : 6%
