An absolute contraindication to MRI is the presence of a metallic foreign body in the globe.  In this case, there was extreme concern on the initial MRI imaging (it was immediately terminated on seeing this artifact), but fortunately CT showed the metal to be outside the globe and the patient suffered no ill effects.
