Hypoattenuated leaflet thickening (HALT), or subclinical leaflet is a sign seen on cardiac CT in the setting of valvular thrombosis, is of prosthetic heart valves.

It is a focal area of hypoattenuating leaflet thickening seen in transcatheter aortic valve prostheses whichthat begins at the leaflet insertion on the valve frame seen on CT.

HALT is a known complicationand in the setting of surgical or transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). There is concern that, it may compromise valvular durability and increasecan be assessed in the risk of thromboembolism, stroke, or transient ischemic attacksdiastolic phase after leaflet caption has been visualised 1-3.
