Pinned images

Last revised by Ryan Thibodeau on 24 Jun 2024

Pinned images are added to a file and can be used to add a case to an article. This is useful when you come across a particularly good example of a condition, an unusual feature, or a rare condition that is under-represented.

To pin an image, go to the three dots at the top right of the image and select ‘pin’ from the drop down menu. Go to the relevant article, select ‘edit article’ and then select ‘add image’. This accesses your pinned images. Select the image you want, add the case number followed by a colon, a space and then a brief title (less than 40 characters). You can unpin images while the file is open.

  • grey pin indicates the image is not pinned

  • yellow pin indicates the image is pinned

While you are editing an article by adding a case, you can un-pin any redundant images.
