A well-defined heterogenous echogenicity structure measuring 24 x 23 x 12 mm is seen in the subcutaneous tissues of the scalp (at the site of complaint). No significant vascularity is seen in it on colour Doppler ultrasound examination. The underlying bone is grossly intact.
