Cortical thickening is seen in the left frontal lobe with an asymmetric increase in myelination of adjacent subcortical white matter evidenced by T2 hypointensity and T1 hyperintensity. This extends towards the frontal horn of the left lateral ventricle in a radial fashion.
Focal hypointensities on GRE images are seen in bilateral cerebellar hemispheres, possibly microhaemorrhages.
